Iris Maxi

Iris Maxi Australia - Shop Iris Maxi The Label Online

Gypsy & Wolf is one of Australia's leading Iris Maxi stockists, bringing you the full Iris Maxi collection online in sizes 8-16. Founded in Sydney in 2017, Iris Maxi has become a beloved name in bohemian fashion, known for flowing silhouettes, floral prints and effortlessly feminine design inspired by Australia's east coast.

Who Is Iris Maxi?

The name Iris Maxi takes its inspiration from Iris, the Greek Goddess of the Rainbow - a symbol of harmony between heaven and earth. That same sense of ethereal, natural beauty runs through every Iris Maxi piece: soft, flowing shapes, floral and nature-inspired prints, and a relaxed, soulful take on bohemian style that feels equally at home barefoot on the beach or dressed up for a summer event.

Shop the Iris Maxi Collection

The Iris Maxi range spans far beyond dresses. Explore Iris Maxi maxi, midi and mini dresses, alongside dreamy Iris Maxi tops, versatile pants and floaty gypsy-inspired skirts - pieces designed not just to wear, but to live in. Every print is drawn from nature, in earthy tones and vibrant florals that reflect the relaxed, free-spirited essence of the modern bohemian woman.

Ethically Made, Beautifully Crafted

We stock Iris Maxi not only for the aesthetic, but for the values behind it. Ethical fashion is at the core of everything the label does - choosing Iris Maxi means choosing thoughtful, considered fashion over fast fashion, and garments made to be worn and treasured for years, not seasons.

Iris Maxi is crafted primarily from rayon, a softer, more eco-conscious fabric that requires significantly less water and energy to produce than conventional cotton. When you shop Iris Maxi online at Gypsy & Wolf, you're not just choosing a beautiful piece of clothing - you're supporting a more sustainable approach to getting dressed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes ethical fashion brands different from regular clothing stores? +

Ethical fashion brands like Iris Maxi prioritise fair trade practices, safe working conditions, and sustainable materials over rock-bottom prices and rapid turnover. Rather than chasing fast-changing trends with cheaply made, disposable pieces, ethical labels invest in quality fabrics and construction designed to last for years, and are typically more transparent about where and how their clothing is made. The result is often a higher price point per item, but a far lower true cost when you factor in how long the piece actually stays in your wardrobe.

Why does Iris Maxi use rayon fabric? +

Rayon is a more sustainable alternative to conventional cotton, requiring significantly less water and energy to produce. It's also naturally soft, breathable and beautifully fluid, which is exactly the flowing, effortless drape that defines the Iris Maxi silhouette - a fabric choice that supports both the brand's ethical values and its signature bohemian look.

What sizes does Iris Maxi clothing come in at Gypsy & Wolf? +

We carry Iris Maxi dresses, tops and pants across our full size range, so you can shop the collection whatever your size. Check each product's size chart for exact measurements, since fit can vary slightly between styles.

How is Iris Maxi different from fast fashion brands? +

Where fast fashion relies on cheap synthetic materials and rapid, high-volume production cycles, Iris Maxi is built around considered design, quality rayon fabric, and pieces meant to be worn season after season rather than discarded after a few wears. It's a slower, more intentional approach to getting dressed - fewer pieces, worn for longer, chosen with more care.

Where is Iris Maxi made? +

Iris Maxi is an Australian label, founded in Sydney in 2017 and inspired by the natural beauty of Australia's east coast. The brand's designs draw directly on that coastal, free-spirited lifestyle, reflected in the earthy tones and floral prints across the collection.

Where can I buy Iris Maxi online in Australia? +

Gypsy & Wolf is Australia's leading Iris Maxi stockists, offering the collection online in sizes 8-16 with fast Australian shipping, free shipping over $100, and flexible payment options including Afterpay and ZipPay.
